Here's some free advice
If you're interested in kettlebells and maybe you have your first one and can't wait for an instructor to start, get Pavel's Enter the Kettlebell. Understand the principles of movement and strength skills -- that will make you a smarter, better kettlebeller. It includes an excellent starting program no matter if you are just starting with fitness or an accomplished athlete. After you've read the book and watched the DVD you'll be off to a good start.
Later, find an RKC instructor to watch your back and your behind!
Make your training safe, effective, rewarding, and fun.
For those trying it on their own -- if your knees hurt or your low back hurts, that's NOT something to get used to. It means you're doing it WRONG! Please don't hurt yourself.
